As I was reading my novel, I noticed that the time period wasnt too long ago. the time period is between September and October of 2001. I know this because, the novel is based on the attack on 9/11 and the novel takes place a few days before the attack happened and there have been flashbacks on what the characters have felt before this and after this. The pictures in this novel help me to know the time period because in some of them there are captions of what the date is and what time it is. There are also some pictures that have day and night in them.
Most of the main characters are expected to show a lot of emotion because of what just happened. most of them only show disappointment. But then some of them also show anger, cries, suffering, and sorrow. but most of the characters who do at least show their emotion, have had some kind of pain like this in the past and they have experienced the pain before.
The author of this novel didnt choose the time period it is based on a true event that happened in 2001. if the author did choose the time period, then it might have changed what had happened and how it happened. also the time period could have changed where it took place and who was responsible for it.
The setting of this novel is real. this event really happened and it is a true story. some of the people might have said different things but they were still part of what happened. I dont really know why the author chose to create a graphic novel on the tragedy of 9/11. Maybe he wanted people to know what it was really like when that happened and to show what other people felt as it was happening and as they were being notified that someone in their family was involved in the accident. if he chose to recreate a different story then the whole thing would be different, or he could have recreated the same story just in a different place or a different theme.

the protagonist in the graphic novel that I am reading is many different people. there isnt just one main character because the novel is based on 9/11 so there are many people that is effected.
the antagonist of the novel is not really anyone because no one in the novel so far is against or opposed to anything. none of the characters in the novel are really against anything besides the fact that some of them thought that the president could have stopped the terrorist from his action by having more security within the airports and the planes.
the weaknesses of the protagonists are that they are emotionally and mentally effected by what happened and some of them have lost people and they might have been even more effected than other people.
the weaknesses of the antagonists are that they are mentally effected by the thought that the president could have prevented this from happening.
its not really the characters as much as the book that attract me to this story. i just really want to know about the events that took place around and leading up to 9/11.
i think this story is aimed at the people that were emotionally, mentally, and physically effected by this event. even though there were many people that were effected they were most likely pointing the story towards the people that were involved and the people that were in the towers at the time that it happened. i think that the story is pointed towards these people because they were the people that were mostly effected with the events.
there isnt really anything that points me towards this character because the whole novel is just about the 9/11 tragedy.
this situation is familiar because many people lost family members that they were very close with and myself as well lost my cousin that i was close with. they were both tragic events and they were both bombings that had something to do with the war in iraq. many people lost very close family members or friends and that had to have effected their life. and the loss will always have an effect on them and probably on their families as well.

I have chose to read "9-11 Emergency Relief."

This novel in fact does follow the rule of thrids, but in some cases, the boxes are different shapes than squares. The characters in this novel are all same but in a different way. they have the same type of structures but they are different within themselves. the layout of this novel is the general structure of any other graphic novel. besides the fact that some of the pages have just one big picture on them, it follows the rule of thirds. i am drawn into this book because of the different style of the layout. if the layout was just plain i dont really think i would be interested. the colors of this novel are somewhat basic. none of them are really that bright when looking at them. but yet there are barely any colors in the novel at all.
